Overhead cranes for the mining industry

Technic One has built 4 overhead cranes for the Chinese mining industry.

This equipment will be installed in an electrolysis hall for zinc recovery.

Manufacturing, assembly, and testing were carried out in collaboration with ATI Automation.

• Total crane weight (unloaded): 26 tons
• Maximum load: 10.7 tons
• Transport capacity: 57 cathodes or 39 anodes
• Maximum travel speed: 120 m/min
• Hoisting speed: 9.6 m/min
• Hoisting motion powered by a 36 kW brake gear motor with frequency drive
• Lower platform stabilization ensured by a scissor system
• Translation movement driven by four 4 kW brake motors with frequency drives
